What this picture means at Muro

A portrait is the smallest thing Muro ships. It should still say what we believe.

01

We work inside the room you are already in

Your background is never replaced with a brand colour. Muro is a layer that sits inside the tools a team already uses rather than asking them to move, and the portrait behaves the same way — the real room stays, depth and all. A person cut out and pasted onto a swatch is a company talking about itself.

02

We resolve things; we do not smooth them over

The room behind you is reduced to two tones and a threshold; you are not. Preconstruction is the work of turning something continuous and ambiguous into something discrete a team can decide on, and the treatment does exactly that to the setting while leaving the person whole. It is honest about having been processed, which is the point.

03

Light arrives; it does not drain away

Most portrait finishes darken the edges. This one inverts that and puts the light on the person instead. It is a small thing that changes the mood of a whole team page, and it is the honest posture for a company whose job is to remove uncertainty early rather than brace for it late.

04

The brand is the boundary; you are the content

The frame — ring or square border — carries no wordmark and no logo. It frames the picture rather than announcing over it, because that is where Muro belongs in a project: around the work, holding its edges, never standing in front of the people doing it.
